The '2 Soon 2 Die' presentation is aimed at students in year 10 and is delivered by Somerset Road Safety in conjunction with Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service and Avon and Somerset Constabulary.
The presentation aims to show how passenger behaviour can have a major impact on a driver. The target age group are reaching a time where it is important for them to understand the consequences of inappropriate behaviour in cars.
'Contract for Life' is a presentation aimed at students in year 11 or above. It is an emotive interactive presentation produced and delivered by Somerset Road Safety in conjunction with Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service and Avon and Somerset Constabulary.
The aim of the presentation is to highlight the consequences of a collision, not only to a driver, but also to innocent victims such as pedestrians, passengers and other road users.
Incorporating a graphic DVD depicting the aftermath of a real crash, uniformed officers from the police and fire service appear in person to describe their roles following a serious collision.
